Recipe Exporter for Mealime (unofficial), by BellaNora. Last updated October 1, 2026.

This extension exports your own Mealime recipes to a zip file on your computer. It is not affiliated with Mealime.

What it accesses

Only when you click Export from a Mealime tab you're logged in to, it reads your Mealime recipe data: favourites, meal-plan recipes, recipes you created, recipe notes and recipe photos. On my.mealime.com it uses the login token the Mealime site has already stored in that tab to make the same request the site makes. The token is used only inside that tab and is never stored, copied or included in the export.

Where data goes

Requests go only to Mealime (app.mealime.com, api.mealime.com, cdn-recipes.mealime.com, cdn-uploads.mealime.com). The result is saved as a zip in your downloads folder. Nothing is sent to BellaNora or any third party. The extension has no analytics, no tracking and no remote code.

What it stores

Nothing. The extension keeps no data after you close the export page.
