What you'll keep from Mealime
The parts you rely on every week, rebuilt as a simple meal planning app.
Plan your week in minutes
Pick a few meals, choose 2, 4 or 6 servings, and you're done.
A grocery list, built for you
Every ingredient from your meals lands on one list, sorted by aisle, with the amounts added up per meal.
Cook one step at a time
Big, clear steps with the right amounts for tonight's servings. Your screen stays on while you cook.
A Mealime alternative still made in BC, and a little better
Made for households that plan together and shop together.
Shop together, live
Split up in the store. When your partner crosses off the milk, it disappears from your list too.
Check the kitchen first
Before you leave, tap what you already have. Only what you need goes shopping.
Undo that mis-tap
Crossed off the wrong thing with a basket in one hand? Tap it again and it's back.
Remembers what you run out of Coming soon
Toilet paper every six weeks? BellaNora will learn it and remind you before you're out.
Bring your own recipes
BellaNora is built around your recipes, not a catalogue. Paste a link from almost any recipe website, or type in the family favourites.

When does Mealime shut down?
Mealime shuts down on October 21, 2026. Until then, Mealime Pro is free for everyone.
Can I export my Mealime recipes?
Mealime has no export button, so we made a free Chrome extension that saves your Mealime recipes, meal plan and notes to your computer: the Recipe Exporter. You can also add recipes to BellaNora from any recipe website or type in your own.
Is BellaNora available in Canada?
Yes. BellaNora is made in British Columbia, priced in Canadian dollars and uses metric quantities by default.
Is there an iPhone or Android app?
BellaNora is a web app. It runs in any phone or computer browser, and you can add it to your iPhone or Android home screen so it opens like an app.
How much will BellaNora cost?
Planned pricing is $4 per month or $36 per year in Canadian dollars, per household, with both phones included. Mealime switchers who join the waitlist get their first 3 months free.
Can my partner and I share a grocery list?
